Cast the Vision Event

What an amazing start we had when casting the vision of Girlfriends Unlimited here at St. Stephens. For starters, Stephanie Firth and others transformed the Narthex into a WONDERFULLY FUN environment full of color, light and beauty, which set the tone for an incredible evening.

Throughout the night we shared our vision and hope for Girlfriends, answered questions, sampled activities that might take place at a Girlfriends event - like crafts, hand massages, get-to-know-you questions, and of course .... shared great food!

We then put a call out to all those who were interested in becoming a "Girlfriend", sitting on our Advisory Board, helping with our upcoming BIG EVENT on May 2, and/or participating in the various other aspects of Girlfriends. We were moved by the response and are comforted in knowing that God has a place for us in this ministry and our genuine attempt to reach out in friendship.
